Tree Set Up & Care Tips

Set Up
  1. Cut off the top and bottom of the box, about 6 inches.
  2. Remove the tree stand (if attached) by laying the tree on its side. Firmly grasp the stand, and while pulling, twist the stand until it is free from the tree.
  3. Cut an inch or 2 off the bottom of the tree so it can take up water.
  4. Reattach the stand by reinserting the stand into the hole in the bottom of the tree, tapping the bottom of the stand until it is seated back in the hole.
  5. Attach stand legs, if required.
  6. Stand the tree up.
  7. Cut the box, top to bottom.
  8. REMEMBER, it may take several hours for the tree to relax to its natural shape after being packaged in the box.

Tree Care Tips

  • Avoid placing a tree in or very near main traffic paths in your house or by swinging doors.
  • Do not place a tree near heat sources, for example, fireplace, candle or other open flame, stoves, heat vents, radiators, or any kind of heaters.
  • Use only safe electrical sources that are in compliance with your local electrical codes.
  • Keep at least one inch of water in the tree stand so that the tree does not become dry.
  • Do not use any lights or electrical devices on a tree that are not designed specifically for tree lighting.
  • Do not use damaged electrical devices or lighting on or near the tree.
  • We recommend the use of fire retardant on all trees, whether real or artificial!
  • You are responsible for complying with all local and state requirements for tree use and display.
Note: Setup and Tree Care instructions will be provided with your tree order.
